Lead Manager, Campaign Management

You are a cross-functional marketing expert who leverages data to drive progress across stakeholders, mitigates risks before they emerge, and serves as a go-to for solving challenging problems. Responsible for cross-functional management of critical go-to-market campaigns, driving strategic alignment and efficiency across AT&T’s portfolio and for all relevant stakeholders across Product and Brand Marketing and respective partners. The ideal candidate is a Marketing expert with experience driving change in a large organization, grounded in marketing strategy, end-to-end campaign management, and process optimization. This role is instrumental to AT&T’s continued success and goes beyond project management—you are a steward of accountability and an influencer of AT&T’s value and impact to consumers.
Responsibilities
- Manage the intricacies of complex marketing campaigns from genesis/pre-planning through launch and optimization, ensuring clear communication at the working and executive level to assist in timely decision-making for each campaign milestone.
- Document progress, alerts, variances, and timelines of respective campaigns to maintain up-to-date marketing records with the latest strategies, decisions, and outcomes.
- Plan and facilitate working checkpoints with all levels of leadership, synthesizing decisions and ensuring follow-through.
- Utilize Adobe Workfront or similar workflow management tools to streamline processes.
- Cross-analyze and contribute to multiple layers of marketing planning, from strategic annual plans to channel and messaging-specific plans, ensuring tight alignment with foundational strategies.
- Escalate and course-correct when marketing executions deviate from plans.
- Monitor campaign launches and performance, leading reviews and retrospectives to suggest optimizations and future improvements.
- Drive rigor around AT&T’s way of Marketing for planned and in-year programs, consistently seeking efficiencies.
- Enable collaboration across MGO and partner organizations to ensure successful execution of the strategic vision.
- Support marketing stakeholders in reaching goals, mitigating risk, and removing roadblocks while capturing key information to replicate improved processes.
- Codify campaign management and overall marketing processes through teamwork.
Requirements
- Background in holistic marketing across multiple brands at large companies; B2B, Local, and Direct Marketing experience a plus.
- Experience managing multi-faceted go-to-market campaign processes requiring strong organizational skills, detail-focused strategic oversight, rigorous risk mitigation, and executive-level reporting.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments with an ability to create structure and process from scratch.
- Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
- Executive presence to inspire confidence with internal and external constituents.
- Collaborative mindset with a willingness to engage in hands-on work and dive into details.
- Ability to react quickly with strategic thinking and proactive solutioning in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, accountable, and operational by nature, but through a strategic lens.
- Patient and persistent.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Workfront or similar workflow management tools.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office.
- Preferred: MBA or Master’s degree.
- Preferred: Experience with Bynder or other Digital Asset Management tools.
- Preferred: Creative or Media Agency experience.
Qualifications
Education: Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree.
Experience: Typically requires 6+ years of experience in a similar area of responsibility.
Pay
Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, and education/training. Salary range: $128,400.00 - $215,800.00 USD Annual.
