Lead Man - Paint Department

About the role

Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in Quincy, IL is seeking an experienced full-time Lead Man for the Paint Department.

Responsibilities

• Aid employees in obtaining necessary tools, information, and feedback
• Conduct audit inspections on all completed units
• Update warranty log sheets
• Ensure that best practices are consistently followed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds
• Previous paint and body repair experience, including welding and fabrication

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have expert knowledge of both paint and body repair, be dependable, detail-oriented, self-motivated, communicate effectively with team members, and be able to multi-task and prioritize job duties.

Skills

Previous supervisory experience is preferred.

Pay

$20.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday - Thursday, 7:30 PM - 6:00 AM; additional overtime as needed or required.
