Lead Mammographer - 40 Hours
Key Responsibilities
- Performing screening and diagnostic mammograms, positioning patients correctly for optimal image quality, and assisting with biopsies.
- Assigning tasks to other technologists, providing guidance and training to new staff, evaluating performance, and addressing any issues within the department.
- Monitoring equipment functionality, performing quality assurance checks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (MQSA), and identifying potential quality issues.
- Explaining procedures to patients, addressing concerns, maintaining patient confidentiality, and coordinating follow-up appointments.
- Maintaining accurate patient records, scheduling appointments, managing staff schedules, and reporting to the Mammography Supervisor.

Pay Range: $51.70 – $76.82
Schedule
This position will work a day shift from 8:00-4:30.

- Highly skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist.
- Knowledge of specialized radiography equipment.
- Ability to provide quality care to patients.
- Experience in operating and maintaining mammography equipment.
- Strong communication skills to explain procedures to patients.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Experience in scheduling and managing staff schedules.
