Responsibilities

• Leads or coordinates shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or staff.
• Supervises staff in the absence of manager/director.
• Promotes teamwork and good customer service.
• Assists in annual evaluations and staff discipline.
• Participates in the performance of specialized radiographic imaging procedures which assist the radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of medical disorders.
• Participates in direct patient care, facility quality and safety initiatives as well as local and federal regulations.
• Affixes with complex and sensitive patient and patient family issues.
• Ensures quality and safe delivery of care to patients of all ages.

Qualifications

• Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• Current ARRT certification.
• Advanced certification in the field of Mammography.
• Current experience as a radiology technologist.
• Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
• Comprehensive Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory standards.
• Ability to travel to all imaging facilities both regularly and without notice.
• Experience in Hospital Information Services (HIS)/Radiology Information System (RIS).

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $38 to $57. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
