About the Role

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Lead Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a Lead Mammography Technologist, you will provide leadership and management to technologists in assigned modality. Taking a patient centered approach, you will provide mammography services within professional standards and with excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Takes a patient centered approach, provides mammography services within professional standards and with excellent customer service
• Guides patients through the mammography process, explains and prepares patients for the procedure, positions patients for the procedure, performs routine and advanced mammography imaging procedures, adjusts Mammography scan parameters, maintains positive attitude and working relationships with radiologist, referring customers and other associates and peers, follows physicians' orders precisely, maintains an orderly and clean work area, ensures compliance with all HIPAA guidelines
• Aids in the hiring process for new associates, coordinates the training and onboarding of new associates, leads regular team meetings and associates one-on-ones, monitors and approves timecards, initiates and participates in performance reviews, development, and performance management of associates, develops associate schedules to provide for planned time off, ensures appropriate staffing levels and adequate coverage, evaluates workflow and implements process improvements for the team, ensures team has knowledge of company and department policies and corresponding procedures are in place, supports associates ensuring highest level of patient satisfaction, leads special projects and/or committees, as assigned, manages other departments in the absence of manager or peers and coordinates schedule to ensure appropriate coverage

Requirements

• ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing 4+ years imaging experience, with demonstrated ability to serve as a resource to others and identify and implement process improvement opportunities
• Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
• Must have training and experience sufficient to competently perform advanced Mammography procedures independently with highest quality
• Certification in imaging specialty
• Must have continuing CEU's in modality as required by MQSA or state specific

Qualifications

• Bilingual
• Works in multiple modalities and/or has multi-modality certifications
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience

Skills

Pay

The pay range for this position is $30.00-$50.06 based on direct and relevant experience.

Schedule

This position has the option of working part-time (30-39 hours) in a 0.8 or 0.9 status (benefit eligible). This is a full-time position working in mammography, xray and dexa Monday-Friday working various 8-hour shifts ranging from 7:30am-5:00pm (no call).
