Lead Maintenance Technician

About the Role

The Lead TM QCC Maintenance provides leadership and guidance to Maintenance Technicians during the work shift, serving as the first level of response and troubleshooting for equipment breakdowns and regular preventative maintenance schedules for various Quality Control Center machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and respond quickly to downtime issues, serving as the first responder to downtime events.
• Effectively communicate between the management team and technical team regarding downtime events.
• Serve as the workflow Coordinator, providing guidance through urgent production issues, triaging issues, and fielding technical questions to management regarding breakdowns and other equipment issues.
• Assist with the training and orientation of new department team members.
• Perform preventative maintenance duties as assigned.
• Assist with all aspects of new equipment installation.
• Evaluate and maintain all equipment to ensure or improve production efficiency.
• Ensure equipment adheres to all applicable safety requirements.
• Assist management in scheduling maintenance projects.
• Work with contractors as needed.
• Maintain accurate and complete departmental records.
