Lead Interior Designer
About the role
The Lead Interior Designer role is hands-on project leadership within our design studio. Key responsibilities include guiding projects from concept to installation, owning client relationships, overseeing fixed finishes and furnishings, and mentoring the design team.
Responsibilities
- Guide the full design process from concept and schematic design through finish selection, construction documentation, and installation on luxury custom homes and comprehensive renovations.
- Own the fixed finishes and furnishings process with rigor and intention, including finish and material selection, vendor sourcing, budgeting, specification tracking, purchase orders, and white-glove installation oversight.
- Serve as the primary point of contact. Present concepts with clarity and confidence, steward scope and budget with transparency, and deliver an exceptional, high-touch experience at every stage.
- Provide clear direction and meaningful feedback to senior and associate designers. Uphold highest standards of quality and craft while cultivating a collaborative, accountable studio culture.
- Partner closely with architects, builders, and vendors to protect design integrity and ensure seamless project delivery.
Requirements
6 or more years of experience in high-end residential interior design, with a strong foundation in FF&E including finish and material selection, full specification, procurement, and installation oversight. Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit is preferred. Must be comfortable with construction documentation and able to navigate complex, multi-phase projects with technical confidence.

Benefits
