About the role
You'll be embedded within the Kroger client environment, acting as a trusted analytics partner, translating complex data into clear recommendations and responding to bespoke business questions from senior stakeholders. This role focuses on delivering high-impact analytics that influence commercial decisions and drive measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted analytics partner within the Kroger business.
- Manage and deliver bespoke ad-hoc insight requests from stakeholders across multiple business functions.
- Translate complex datasets into meaningful, actionable recommendations.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within retail performance data.
- Present findings and recommendations to client stakeholders in a clear and engaging way.
- Lead analytical projects from initial brief through to delivery and implementation.
- Support and mentor junior analysts where required.
- Collaborate with internal Retail Insight teams to ensure consistency, quality, and best practice.
- Help shape and evolve insight solutions based on changing client needs.
Requirements
- Significant experience in data, analytics, or insight-focused roles.
- Previous experience working directly with business stakeholders or clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience turning data into practical business recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- A proactive and commercially minded approach to problem solving.
- Experience within grocery retail, FMCG, or consumer-facing industries would be advantageous.
Technical skills
Experience with some of the following is desirable:
- SQL
- Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
- Excel
- Data analysis and statistical methodologies
- Retail or customer performance metrics
