Lead HVAC Installer / Project Manager - 10 years exp / $40-$50/hour + Company Vehicle + Benefits + Bonus Opportunities

Position Summary

The Lead HVAC Installer / Project Manager is responsible for overseeing commercial HVAC installation projects from kickoff through completion. This position serves as the field leader for installation operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Greater Comfort Mechanical's quality standards.

Essential Responsibilities

• Manage commercial HVAC installation projects from start to finish

• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors

• Monitor project schedules and budgets

• Attend jobsite meetings and communicate project updates

• Identify and resolve project issues before they impact schedules

• Ensure projects are completed within scope and customer expectations

• Cookordinate with operations, sales, service, and procurement teams

Qualifications

• Required:

  • HVAC Journeyman License
  • 10+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience
  • Proven experience leading installation teams
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, and controls
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities

• PREFERRED:

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
  • Experience managing commercial construction projects
  • Experience with BuildOps or similar project management software
  • Advanced understanding of commercial HVAC systems and controls

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds

• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and navigate construction sites

• Ability to work in varying weather conditions

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical installation work throughout the day
