HVAC Project Manager - 10 years exp / Salary + Company Vehicle + Benefits + Bonus Opportunities

About the Role

Greater Comfort Mechanical is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to oversee commercial HVAC installation projects throughout the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can successfully manage projects, lead installation crews, and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial HVAC installation projects from start to finish
• Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and progress
• Attend jobsite meetings and communicate project updates
• Lead and support multiple installation crews
• Train and mentor installers and apprentices
• Ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings
• Resolve field issues and installation challenges
• Complete project documentation and closeout activities
• Work closely with operations, sales, service, and customers to ensure project success

Requirements

• HVAC Journeyman License
• 10+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience
• Previous experience leading installation teams
• Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, and controls
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
• Commercial construction project management experience
• Experience with BuildOps or similar project management software
• Advanced knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and controls
