Lead Histology Technician
Job Functions, Duties, Responsibilities
- Assure appropriate specimen accessioning and labeling.
- Perform gross description and dissection of specimens received.
- Maintain the integrity of the specimen and patient identification.
- Describe gross anatomic features of routine, uncomplicated surgical specimens, ensuring that all lesions, marking and sutures are mentioned.
Position Qualifications
- Minimum training/education required is an Associate degree in chemical, physical or biological science or medical laboratory technology.
- 1 year of experience in grossing, preferred.

Location and Hours
LOCATION: 1822 North Main Street, Suite 302, Fall River, MA 02720
HOURS: Shift starting between 10:00 am to 12:00pm (8hr shift)
Pay
Salary range: $30.00 - $40.00
Full Time: Benefits Eligible
