Histology Tech Lead

Responsibilities

• Plans, manages and supervises the activities of a section of the anatomic pathology department.
• Performs clerical and environmental duties in the histology/cytology department.
• Supports pathologists in handling and retrieving specimens.
• Adheres to department standards for patient identification and specimen integrity.

Requirements

• Certification as a Histology Technician (HT) or Histology Technologist (HLT) by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) required.
• 3 years of experience in histology required.

HOURS

You will enjoy excellent work-life balance by having afternoons and evenings off. The Lead works Monday - Friday, arriving between 5am - 6am. The day generally concludes between 1pm - 130pm. No evenings, nights, weekends or holidays.
