Lead - Gift Shop Clerk

About the Role

Join the Gift Shop department at Barnes-Jewish Hospital's Center for Advanced Medicine facility. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position where your strong customer service skills can make a positive impact.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, rotating shifts: 9:30 am - 6:00 pm
• One weekend per month (Saturday and Sunday) - 9:00 am - 5:30 pm at the Plaza Shop
• Closed for major holidays

Responsibilities

• Performs cash functions including ringing sales, maintaining paperwork, ensuring product knowledge, and providing receipts.
• Provides excellent customer service by assisting customers, resolving problems, and meeting customer needs in a timely manner that reflects positively on the shop.
• Oversees shop operations and delegates duties as necessary.
• Ensures appearance of the shop by stocking, straightening, organizing, and cleaning appropriate areas.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-5 years of experience
• No supervisor experience required
