Position Highlights
Full-Time, 40 hours/week
Hours: Monday-Friday; 6am-3pm. Rotating Saturday.
Location: Warrenville, IL. May be required to travel to other locations.

Responsibilities
Serves as a Department Lead Technologist by assisting other GI Techs, ensuring quality, and participates as a team member and is accountable for own work responsibility.
- Supervises work performed by department and may delegate work to staff members.
- Counsels and coaches the team by guiding, directing, motivating, and mediating conflict resolution.
- Maintains staff schedule and manages time off and call in’s to ensure adequate staffing.
- Organizes and secures trainings and in-services as needed.
- Affords staff development, new employee orientation, and training.
- Maintains staff compliance with policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma.
- BCLS/ACLS Certification. (Renewed every two years.)
- All minimum qualifications.
- Central Service Department experience.
- Minimum of two years experience in the Endoscopic Suite and 1 year minimum supervisory experience.
Skills
- General knowledge of equipment and supplies.
- Knowledge of standard instrumentation and equipment, their functions and uses.
- Understanding of universal precautions and hazardous materials management.
- Ability to work independently under established policies, procedures, and standards.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to setup surgical trays and wrap appropriately for sterilization.

Pay
The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of 19.07-28.61, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
