About the role
Responsible for inspecting fire sprinkler systems in commercial buildings to ensure compliance with local and national safety codes.
Responsibilities
- Inspect fire sprinkler systems for proper installation and functionality.
- Document findings and provide recommendations for system improvements.
- Work closely with building owners and contractors to address issues and ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fire protection inspection.
- Knowledge of NFPA 13 and NFPA 13D standards.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills
- Proficiency in using fire inspection software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.
