Lead Equipment Maintenance Technician- HVAC
Knowledge Requirements
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.
- Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Read and understand visual aids.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
Education and Minimum Experience
- HS Diploma required
- 8 years minimum experience supporting industrial HVAC systems
- EPA 608 - Universal Certification preferred
- Maryland Statutory License (Boilers) preferred
- Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages
- Proven leadership and multi-tasking experience for preventive maintenance and emergency situations
Responsibilities
- Comply within +/- 5% in the application of the forecast assigned to projects and costs monthly.
- Maintain all Company required certifications.
- Ensure all procedures are updated and reviewed and generate those that have not been published.
- Have zero deviations in audits.
- Have zero deviations in the procedure for purchasing goods and services for the company.
- Have 0% down time in the production lines for failures in air conditioning, refrigeration and extraction equipment monthly.
- Have +/- 5% deviations in the consumption of energy budgeted for the equipment they are responsible for.
- Comply with the Predictive and Preventative Maintenance program (PROTEUS) in the established time.
- Have zero deviations in the maximum and minimum inventory parts and accessories for air conditioning, refrigeration and extraction equipment monthly.
- Search and develop providers and services for the supply of materials and services to have alternatives and to make proposals for cost reduction.
- Participate in the evaluation of providers and contractors in coordination with the purchasing department.
- Analyze and propose tasks that are advantageous financially and can be performed by plant personnel.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Pay
The hourly pay range for this role is $27.60 - $49.71. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
