Lead Engineer, HP NonStop Development (REMOTE option)

This role supports financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve applications based on business needs
• Design and execute software tests; troubleshoot performance issues
• Identify and fix complex software defects
• Lead project efforts, assign tasks, and monitor progress
• Propose new technologies and methodologies for effective problem-solving

Qualifications

• 5+ years of development or engineering experience preferred
• Proficient in HP NonStop COBOL85, HPNS SQL/MX and SQL/MP
• Experience with Pathway servers and configurations
• Familiar with HP NonStop/Tandem Guardian OS application development
• Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience

Pay

$100,000 – $145,000 annually
