About the role

Activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions, and systems. Includes activities related to the technical improvement of existing products and components. Exerts influence on departmental operations and is responsible for planning and/or execution. This role enjoys a degree of autonomy but is focused on executing activities within an operational discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required, but generally within the framework of guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Creates part, module, and assembly definitions in the form of 2D cross-sections, 3D models, tolerance stacks, and various electronic data formats to support analysis, manufacturing, assembly, tooling, and inspection.
  • Develops in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Relies on prior experience and acquired technical expertise to implement policy/strategy.
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of key operational factors; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
  • Understands how the work of their own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the broader field.
  • Exercises judgment and proposes different solutions outside defined parameters, within the framework of guidance.
  • Relies on prior experience and professional training to resolve simple tasks.
  • Possesses the technical skills and analytical mindset required for problem-solving.
  • May use multiple internal sources outside their own team to make decisions.
  • At this level, the role may be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or a People Leader capable of hiring and developing talent. Provides informal guidance to new team members.

Requirements

  • For roles outside the United States: Significant experience in the function and with digital audio workstations. Knowledge equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
  • For roles in the United States: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (or a high school diploma/General Education Diploma with at least 4 years of experience in the function).

Pay

For candidates applying to a U.S.-based position, the pay range is between $89,300.00 and $148,700.00. The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility includes a discretionary annual bonus.
