Lead DVM

About the role

Mill Pond Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full-time Lead DVM to join our dynamic team. We are a small animal general practice located in Branford, CT.

Responsibilities

• Care for a diverse caseload of small animals
• Collaborate with a supportive team to provide comprehensive care
• Participate in clinical decision-making and patient management
• Contribute to the development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures
• Provide mentorship and guidance to veterinary technicians and students
• Engage in professional development and continuing education

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an ACVIM accredited program
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Connecticut
• Experience in small animal medicine and surgery
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

The base salary is customized per each individual candidate and will depend on schedule as well as production bonus incentives.
