BIM Lead

About the role

The BIM Lead is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategies within the organization. This includes coordinating with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure that all project phases are accurately represented in the BIM model.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the creation and maintenance of BIM models from concept through completion.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure BIM models align with project goals and specifications.
• Train and mentor team members on BIM best practices and software applications.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to BIM.
• Develop and manage BIM workflows and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM or related field.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and other BIM software.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with BIM coordination and collaboration tools.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and LEED certification.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Proficient in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Experience with project scheduling and resource allocation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
