BIM/VDC Lead

About the role

As a BIM/VDC Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) processes within our projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and execution of BIM/VDC strategies to enhance project efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure BIM models are comprehensive and compliant with industry standards.
• Facilitate communication among team members to ensure all stakeholders understand the BIM/VDC process and its benefits.
• Train and mentor junior staff on BIM/VDC methodologies and tools.
• Ensure compliance with relevant BIM standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM/VDC roles, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with VDC coordination and clash detection.
• Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
