Lead Direct Support Professional (Residential Coordinator)

About the Role

At Dungarvin, we are a mission-driven team dedicated to providing person-centered supports since 1976. As a Lead Direct Support Professional (Residential Coordinator), you’ll work directly with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, or complex medical needs, assisting the Program Director in coordinating services and ensuring consistent care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Director with finance, medical, recreation, program services, family involvement, education, and household management.
• Maintain consistency in program implementation, individual care, and communication with staff and interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance to individuals served.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of individuals.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as mobility, dressing, bathing, toileting, and personal hygiene.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Person-centered, patient, and kind.
• Dependable, adaptable, and flexible.
• Observant and detail-oriented.
• Positive role model and able to work on a team.
• Committed to a respectful and collaborative environment.
• Basic computer skills for documentation.
• Valid Driver's License (some positions may require personal vehicle and auto-liability insurance).
• Successful background clearance.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay

Starting Pay: $15.00/hr
