Lead Direct Support Professional - (Residential)

What You’ll Do as a Lead Direct Support Professional (LDSP)

• Lead by example, coaching and supporting Direct Support Professionals
• Affiliate with daily living skills, personal care, and community engagement
• Ensure person-centered plans, behavior plans, and documentation are followed accurately
• Support day-to-day operations of the home in partnership with leadership
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment
• Transport individuals to appointments and advocate for their needs
• Support individuals with budgeting, household routines, and independence goals
• Complete required documentation including progress notes, incident reports, and daily logs
• Communicate effectively with team members and provide clear shift hand-offs

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license
• GED or High School Diploma required
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Caregiver must be compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
• Caregiver must possess strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
