Requirements
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required
- High school diploma, or equivalent; Preferred – Associate degree from accredited program/institution, or two or more years of college-level course work
- Certifications: First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention
- One (1) plus years of related experience and/or training; Preferred – Two (2) plus years of related experience and/or training
Responsibilities
- Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards that are applicable to this position
- Participate in scheduled meetings, in-service training and team decisions as needed
- Communicate effectively and professionally by phone or face-to-face with agency staff, vendors, community members and regulatory and contract staff
- Compile, prepare, submit, and maintain accurate records, files, forms, statistics, and additional information in accordance with agency policies, licensing and/or contract requirements
- Implement Compass Connections safety protocols including evacuating with children and other staff in case of an emergency
- Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed and as requested by the supervisor
- Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the child and program operations
- Maintain Compass Connections professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in Compass Connections employee handbook
- Maintain a comprehensive digital archiving system and be able to locate and retrieve information from files as directed
- Receives, tracks, and responds to high volume inquiries and requests for stored records from internal and external agencies in a timely manner
- Processes raw images using the appropriate software
- Complete timely and accurate documentation or training in accordance with agency policies and procedures and contract and regulatory requirements and standards
- Meet all deadlines required by program supervisor and federal partners
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment
- Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request
- Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks
- Ability to frequently move boxes weighing between 30-50 pounds throughout designated work area
- Demonstrate the ability to:
- Respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural and socio-economic characteristics
- Work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers and professionals
- Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times
- Organize and prioritize responsibilities and duties efficiently
- Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position
- Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Compass Connections policies and procedure
