About the role
Casa Mariposa-ALL GIRLS SHELTER offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment dedicated to helping girls and women. Bandolero Drive is home to two positions available.
Responsibilities
- Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards that are applicable to this position.
- Participate in scheduled meetings, in-service training, and team decisions as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the child and program operations.
- Communicate effectively and professionally by phone or face-to-face with agency staff, vendors, community members, and regulatory and contract staff.
- Compile, prepare, submit, and maintain accurate records, files, forms, statistics, and additional information in accordance with agency policies, licensing, and/or contract requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality in all areas of child and program operations.
- Maintain Compass Connections professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in the employee handbook, including demonstrating respect for agency staff, clients, and community members and complying with required dress code at all times.
- Maintain a comprehensive digital archiving system and be able to locate and retrieve information from files as directed.
- Receive, track, and respond to high volume inquiries and requests for stored records from internal and external agencies in a timely manner.
- Process raw images using the appropriate software.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation or training in accordance with agency policies and procedures and contract and regulatory requirements and standards.
- Meet all deadlines required by program supervisor and federal partners.
- Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position.
- Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Compass Connections policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.
- Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.
- Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks.
- Respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural and socio-economic characteristics.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers, and professionals.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times.
- Organize and prioritize responsibilities and duties efficiently.
- Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position.

Pay
The pay for this position is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is flexible and may vary based on departmental needs.
Qualifications
- Required – High school diploma, or equivalent;
- Preferred – Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution;
- First aid, CPR certifications are preferred but not required.
Skills
- Strong communication skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications;
- Knowledge of child welfare and social services;
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
