Lead Diagnostic Radiographer - Full Time

Mitchell County Regional Health Center is in Osage, Iowa, serving Mitchell County with a population of 10,600. MCRHC is a 25-bed critical access hospital, including a Level 4 Trauma Center Emergency Room seeing 3,200 visits annually. The Surgical Services department performs over 1,300 procedures annually, including specialties in General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Pain management, and Podiatry. About the role

The Lead Diagnostic Radiographer will provide patient care by producing diagnostic radiographs for interpretation by radiologists in the Imaging Services Department. They will assist in technical aspects, quality control programs, and regulatory compliance of the Imaging Department.

This is a 1.0 FTE position (80 hours per pay period) with all shifts required. Experience in general x-ray, CT, mammography, and participation in call rotation is necessary.

Requirements

• Credentialed in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry-eligible.
• Five years of demonstrated competence in an Imaging setting.
• Current Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) Permit to Practice in Radiology.
• Flexibility for staffing all shifts, weekends, holidays, and call duties.
• Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) certification, maintained continuously.
• Completion of Mandatory Reporting requirement within 90 days of hire; renewal every 5 years.
