Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of technical support experience in the connector/interconnect industry (design wins preferred).
  • Familiarity with interconnect systems, controllers, ESS/EV charging, or battery/module systems.
  • Basic knowledge of industry standards (e.g., UL, EIA, IEC, Telcordia) is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in 3D modeling (Creo) and Product Data Management (Windchill).
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Skills

  • Strong verbal/written communication (able to explain technical concepts to global teams).
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building.
  • Organized with sharp presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Solutions: Analyze needs and propose power solutions (existing products, modifications, or new concepts). Create models/presentations to showcase solutions.
  • Technical Support: Generate engineering documents (drawings, specs, test results). Collaborate with thermal/simulation teams and lab testing.
  • Product & Market Expertise: Advise customers on emerging trends and competitive differentiation. Build trusted relationships with key clients' engineering teams. Lead Voice of Customer (VOC) activities for new products.
  • Travel: 30% required.
