Requirements
- Educational background: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of technical support experience in the connector/interconnect industry (design wins preferred).
- Familiarity with interconnect systems, controllers, ESS/EV charging, or battery/module systems.
- Basic knowledge of industry standards (e.g., UL, EIA, IEC, Telcordia) is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in 3D modeling (Creo) and Product Data Management (Windchill).
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Skills
- Strong verbal/written communication (able to explain technical concepts to global teams).
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building.
- Organized with sharp presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Customer Solutions: Analyze needs and propose power solutions (existing products, modifications, or new concepts). Create models/presentations to showcase solutions.
- Technical Support: Generate engineering documents (drawings, specs, test results). Collaborate with thermal/simulation teams and lab testing.
- Product & Market Expertise: Advise customers on emerging trends and competitive differentiation. Build trusted relationships with key clients' engineering teams. Lead Voice of Customer (VOC) activities for new products.
- Travel: 30% required.
