Duties And Responsibilities
- Set up workstations with the required ingredients and cooking equipment
- Ensure great presentation of all dishes before they are served
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored safely & properly
- Stock, date, rotate and check the temperature of products
- Continuously check the quality of ingredients
- Follow recipes and product directions for preparing food
- Work as a team and help wherever needed
Position Skills/Requirements
- General food safety knowledge (SERV Safe preferred)
- At least 2 years cooking experience in a full-service restaurant
- High level of professionalism
- Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Light amount of lifting (usually less than 20 lbs)
