About the role

Hyatt Regency Frisco is conveniently located just 25 minutes north of Dallas, offering 303 guestrooms and 27,500 square feet of flexible event space. This 18-story hotel sits in the heart of Frisco, TX at Stonebriar Centre — steps away from Dr. Pepper Ballpark, Toyota Stadium (home of FC Dallas), the Frisco Discovery Center, and a variety of dining and entertainment options. This culinary position requires in-depth skills and knowledge of all kitchen operations. The incumbent must be capable of producing a consistent product to meet and exceed guests' needs in a timely manner, and on a daily basis monitor food production, quality and consistency, staffing levels, and department training. Skills and knowledge include culinary education, cost control, communication skills, computer skills, organizational skills, guest contact experience, and culinary teaching skills. This person must be able to give direction in the culinary supervisor's absence.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills
• 4 years of previous line experience required; fine dining experience preferred
• Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
• Ability to perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills
• Ability to work multiple stations in the kitchen
• Requires moderate supervision and training
• Open availability, including weekends and holidays

Schedule

Shift schedules vary based on business needs and may include shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM and 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Candidates must be available to work during these timeframes.
