About the role
This part-time, hourly position is responsible for planning and preparing meals and leading a team of volunteer cooks. This role is integral to ensuring nutritious meals are prepared for our After-School and Summer Programs while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare meals in accordance with nutritional guidelines
- Lead a team of volunteer cooks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
Requirements
- Experience in food service or cooking
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety practices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for those who drive)
