Lead Contract Specialist

About the role

Serves as Lead Contract Specialist and Contracting Officer, responsible for the management, coordination, direction, review, and execution of contracting actions in support of a large civil works program.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates contracting actions for a large civil works program.
• Reviews and executes contract actions in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
• Directs and oversees the development and implementation of contract strategies and plans.
• Ensures compliance with contract terms and conditions.
• Monitors contract performance and makes recommendations for corrective action as necessary.
• Develops and maintains effective working relationships with contractors, stakeholders, and other government agencies.
