Lead Commercial Proposal Manager (Remote Eligible)
About the role
This role involves creating proposals/offers, negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and assessing commercial risk for the organization. Stewards of mid-sized sales territories, these positions require autonomy within defined commercial guidelines or review of end results.
Responsibilities
- Develop proposals; negotiate with customers; ensure that deals add value for shareholders;
- Foster competitive pricing strategies;
- Create and submit necessary bidding documents;
- Utilize deep knowledge of their sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups, along with analytical thinking and purchasing experience to implement policies/strategies;
- Understand best practices and how their area integrates with others; be aware of competition and factors that distinguish the company on the market;
- Exercise judgment and have the ability to propose alternative solutions outside of standard parameters to address complex, everyday problems with projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers;
- Ability to prioritize information for decision-making;
- Use technical expertise and analytical thinking;
- Use multiple internal and limited external sources beyond their teams to make decisions;
- These sales positions are primarily individual contributors.
Requirements
Advanced experience is required. The knowledge level is comparable to a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or an equivalent with relevant experience).

Pay
The pay range for this position is between $92,800.00 and $154,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
