Lead Clinical Pharmacist

About the role

A Brief Overview The Lead Pharmacist assists the pharmacy leadership team in facilitating the daily operational or clinical activities of the pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of a designated area, service line, initiative or specialty within the pharmacy department.
• May require Responsible Person/TDDD license responsibility for a designated pharmacy.
• Guide the orientation and training of new and existing professional and technical staff for their specific job descriptions; monitor and/or assess ongoing competency.
• May serve as a Residency Program Director or Coordinator.
• Leadership of and/or participation in relevant local and/or system committees.
• Lead position can be further designated as Operations, Clinical or Dual Role/Combination.
• OPERATIONS LEAD assignment may also include: Primary resource and point of escalation for operational issues. Oversight and/or support of department operations, including but not limited to: workflow
