About the role

This is a working CLS/Laboratory Lead position. In addition to CLS duties, they will also assist the Administrative Lab Director with supervisory duties.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of laboratory tests in many areas of the laboratory, including High Complexity Tests as defined by CLIA.
Ensure accuracy and reporting of results.
Apply principles, theories, and techniques.
Show professional judgment.
Show computer proficiency.
Show microscopic proficiency.
Show good communications skills.

Requirements

Education: BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university with a major in the biological or chemical sciences as required for California State licensure.
Completion of an accredited CLS program with requisite internship.
Licenses and Certificates: Valid and current California CLS license. Must provide original/original duplicate license upon hire.
