Lead Client Strategy and Growth Executive
At Velera, we are the nation’s premier payments credit union service organization (CUSO) and an integrated fintech solutions provider. Serving more than 4,000 financial institutions throughout North America, we operate with velocity to help our clients keep pace with the rapid momentum of change and fuel growth in the new era of financial services.
About the role
As a key member of our team, you will support Division Executives on the new hire interview process, serve as a mentor to the team, and assist with the on-boarding of new Client Solutions Group (CSG) members. You will accompany new CSGs to client meetings, aid in training, strategy, and solutions development, and act as a team lead and backup manager. This role involves consulting with CSGs on strategic business review preparation, identifying white space opportunities, and collaborating with National Sales Executives and Solution Consultants on net-new sales and tailored presentations.
You will serve as a solutions strategist for special initiatives, assist the VP/Growth Enablement as an escalation point for clients, and thoughtfully understand the addressable market within your territory to pursue net-new revenue opportunities. This includes cross-selling products and services, engaging decision-makers, and understanding market and legislative changes that may impact client decisions. You will also develop add-on sales and retention strategies, maintain high client satisfaction, and act as the primary point person for client escalations and issue resolution.
Additionally, you will gather and maintain competitive intelligence, educate clients and coworkers on Velera’s competitive positioning, and demonstrate mastery of all products and technology solutions. This role requires leading on-site diligence to uncover prospect pain points, accompanying executive leadership to prospect meetings, and providing market intelligence to internal teams. You will also create proposals for renewals, develop C-suite relationships, and participate in meetings, conferences, and presentations as needed.
