About This Role

This Lead Childcare Teacher opportunity at Chroma Early Learning Academy serves Mixed / All Ages and requires an active Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. Based in Marietta, GA, candidates bring experience in early childhood education and development.

What You'll Do

• Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment aligned with Georgia DECAL and Quality Rated standards.
• Support the implementation of an age-appropriate curriculum that promotes sensory exploration, early communication, and gross motor development.
• Absorb and document developmental milestones and communicate regularly with families.
• Follow all licensing and program guidelines related to health, safety, and sanitation.
• Actively participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training required for Quality Rated compliance.

Requirements

• Ability to meet all requirements under Georgia’s Bright from the Start and Quality Rated guidelines.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Passion for early childhood education and the social-emotional well-being of young children.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to continuous learning.
• CDA, TCC, or Paraprofessional certificate Required
• Ability to Pass a Background Check
• High school diploma or GED Required
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Nice to Have

• One year of experience in teaching or childcare, with a passion for the social-emotional well-being of young children.
