About the role

A+ Childcare and Learning Center is seeking a Lead Childcare Teacher to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience leading a classroom of children aged 2-5 years old.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and execute group activities
• Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and communicate regularly with parents
• Assist in the supervision of children during outdoor playtime and transitions between activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• At least 2 years of experience working with children in a childcare setting
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of child development and educational theories
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with technology in the classroom (e.g., using educational software)
