Lead Changeover Set-up Tech

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Conducts themself in a safe and courteous manner in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Efficiently communicates changeover and set-up issues in a timely manner
• Performs preventive maintenance routines on lines per HIPPO Tasks, tooling, and equipment related to the set-up process
• Reviews Batch order, Bag Spec to retrieve information for Set-Up
• Manages all changeovers and set-ups adhering and maintaining allotted times
• Collections and manages all SOC’s
• Adheres to KPI’s set forth for changeovers
• Removes tooling and inspects for damage
• Maintain tooling and machines, if requires repair, generates HIPPO WO
• Removes and installs tooling and performs machine set-up
• Verifies set up and set up samples for accuracy per customer specification
• Supports Production Operators; achieves and maintains efficiency and quality of product and scrap yield
• Other responsibilities and projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma
• Experience: 5+ years in a manufacturing environment, knowledge of food processing or packaging
• Specific skills: Ability to work safely and effectively with minimal supervision. Equipment & Machinery: Knowledge of electrical wiring, controls, PLC, knowledge of mechanical systems including bearings, shafts, rollers, pneumatics. Computer Experience & Software: Experience with Allen Bradley Logix/Studio 5000 & Oracle WMS
