Lead Set-Up Mechanic
About the role
Subject Matter Expert on mixing, coating, drying, converting and packaging equipment. Participates in all equipment aspects of product development and manufacturing including execution of pilot clinical, exhibit, and validation batches, commercial batches. Responsible for training Operations staff on equipment procedures and batch execution and resolving manufacturing issues as they arise.
Essential Functions
- Equipment set-up and maintenance for mixers, coaters, rotary converting equipment, packaging equipment, and cartoning equipment.
- Manufacture of pilot, exhibit, validation and commercial batches.
- Train operations team on equipment operation, procedures, and execution of batch records.
- Identify and implement process improvement, following GMP and Change Control requirements.
Additional Responsibilities
- Facilitate transfer of materials for production activities.
- Assist formulation team in formulation development activities.
- Establish robust processing conditions for new product production.
Qualifications
- Education: High School or GED high school - Required
- Experience: 12 years or more in pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Specialized Knowledge: Delta Rotary Converting equipment and packager, Kraemer coating and drying equipment, Lee Mixers, 20 KG to 1500 KG, MGS, Cartoning equipment, RA Jones Cartner, Hydrogel mfg.
Pay
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $36.00 to $45.00 per hour. In addition, Amneal offers a short-term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance-based award, with this position within the first 12 months.
Schedule
Amneal ranges reflect the Company’s good faith estimate of what Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, experience, geographic location and other relevant skills.
