Responsibilities
- Provides direct clinical support to providers, including rooming patients, assisting with procedures, and completing clinical tasks.
- Serves as a resource for Medical Assistants, offering guidance, direction, and support.
- Supports efficient patient flow and helps maintain an organized clinical environment.
- Collaborates with providers, clinic leadership, and front desk staff to support a cohesive patient experience.
- Communicates effectively across teams and escalates issues as appropriate.
- Supports implementation of workflow improvements and organizational initiatives.
- Assists with phone support and coordination of patient access needs, in partnership with clinic leadership.
- Assists with team scheduling and coordination, including input on staffing needs, overtime, and time-off requests.
Qualifications
- Certified or Registered preferred but not necessary.
- CPR Certification required.
- A minimum of 2 years MA/CMA experience preferably in the medical field.
- Experienced in staff roles with a history of good performance.
- Experience with Epic or similar EHR preferred.
- A High School diploma or GED and a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant or Paramedic program required.
- Leadership skills.
- Multi-tasking, Time management, Team work.
- Medical terminology.
- Able to provide accurate and sufficient charting/messages.
- Able to listen, provide direction, relay information in a professional manner that is appropriate to audience and respond to questions within scope of his/her knowledge as well as being open to constructive criticism.
- Able to work full time and flexibility to work varying hours.
- Able to work multiple positions for the specific department i.e. phones, scheduling of appointments, rooming, procedures.
- Conveys a warm, caring and approachable demeanor.
- Displays unconditional respect toward others.
- Able to sense others feelings and perspectives.
- Must be able to get along with others, be a team player, accept feedback from others, and be able to follow work rules.

Pay
- The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $18.00-26.45 based on certification, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.
- Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
- Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
