Lead, Business Development Manager

For our client, a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space, we are seeking a Lead Business Development Manager to support revenue growth through customer focus, relationship development, and disciplined commercial execution.

About the role

You will collaborate with sales, customer, product, and operational partners to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen market execution, customer relationships, and measurable business results within a manufacturing environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Drive growth for key customer segments
• Expand the company portfolio in new and existing markets
• Lead business development initiatives targeting non-core customers
• Guide product managers on strategic offerings
• Analyze market trends to secure long-term client partnerships
• Conduct customer visits domestically and internationally
• Schedule internal meetings to tackle existing challenges
• Collaborate to introduce advanced consumable products for the FAB market

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Business preferred
• 8+ years of successful experience in the chemical industry
• Proven business development capability across product lifecycle
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including pricing and KPI management
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams to drive decisions
• History of developing business and growing companies
• Project management skills from beginning to closure
• Willingness to travel up to 50% as required

Pay

$125,000 – $157,000 annually
