Purpose
The Business Development Lead at Suvida Healthcare is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and advancing small to mid-sized provider groups that represent strong tuck-in acquisition opportunities. This individual owns the front half of the acquisition funnel, including Phase I activities, from initial prospecting through executive handoff, and remains actively involved through diligence and LOI support.
Responsibilities
- Possess knowledge of market research, mapping, and competitive analysis to identify potential acquisition targets.
- Initiate first contact with prospects and build relationships through effective communication and professional demeanor.
- Conduct preliminary diligence via backchannel sources such as brokers, Google reviews, and market insights.
- Maintain accurate Salesforce documentation for all prospects and outreach activities.
- Evaluate targets against proprietary Suvida criteria and conduct backchannel diligence (broker insights, reputation review, market feedback).
- Maintain rigorous Salesforce documentation and pipeline discipline to advance qualified opportunities into Executive Review.
- Support transaction execution by presenting opportunities to Market Leadership and BD Committee, assisting with early-stage diligence, data gathering, and issue resolution.
- Prepare and assist with LOI preparation as needed.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in business development, corporate development, or healthcare growth.
- Experience engaging physician owners or healthcare operators.
- Exposure to M&A diligence processes.
- Strong CRM discipline, particularly with Salesforce.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) required.

- Bachelor’s degree required; candidates with significant relevant experience may be considered.
