Lead Building Engineer- 1st Shift

Responsible for supervising a crew of engineers to ensure the proper operation and maintenance of all Building MEP systems and equipment with a primary focus on critical equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to all mechanical equipment and systems
• Identify, isolate, and, in some instances, repair building-related issues that arise
• Perform troubleshooting of all site-wide equipment and associated systems
• Work closely with subcontractors to coordinate and ensure client procedures are safely followed and documented
• Perform maintenance work orders, preventive maintenance, building tours, and document on appropriate logs and/or forms
• Supervise, assist, and work alongside building engineers to advocate cooperation of all personnel for smooth department operation
• Maintain a professional, safe, and clean work area; comply with C&W Services, Client, and OSHA Safety Policies and Regulations
• Participate in client meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager
• Ensure assigned work tasks meet quality standards
• Operate Building Automation System (BAS)
• Operate Clients Preventative Maintenance System (CMMS)
• Work in an on-call rotation as needed
• Review and document ASHRAE 188 plan
• Conduct LOTO annual review for all equipment and train others as needed
• Oversee and update SDS book and online database
• Evaluate weekly work orders to ensure updates are being added and weekly hours are being met
• Oversee and assist other engineers
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Technical or trade school education
• EPA/CFC certified
• Mass Refrigeration License
• Ability to read blueprints, control sequences, and have a clear understanding of codes and regulations
• Ability to read schematics, job instructions, and general correspondence

Pay

$44.30 - $52.12 per hour
