General Responsibilities
- Work independently or as part of a team
- Understand and follow safety guidelines and ensure others are following the appropriate protocols
- Understand scopes of work and can effectively complete the tasks associated
- Understand common industry tools including applicable testing equipment and how to use them
- Efficiently lead crews on different sized projects or more than one
- Communicate, educate, and delegate effectively
Responsibilities for BAS
- Affords assistance in the installation of building automation systems
- Pulling wire, working with PLC’s, panel enclosures, raceways, and more relevant tasks
- Commercial HVAC trouble shooting skills
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, pumps, towers, chillers, metering systems, steam, electric, CO, air flows, VAV systems, etc.
- Proficient with test meters and wiring diagrams
- Installation of controllers, communications wiring, conduit, and field devices in a workmanlike manner
- Attends project-specific progress meetings as needed and forwards pertinent information to Project Manager
- Performs preventative maintenance and diagnostics on automation systems and components according to service agreement contracts
- Completes and submits written service orders and reports covering all aspects of each assignment and activity

Requirements
- A minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of experience in a Technology Construction related field is preferred
- Formal education in Electronics or related field is also preferred
