About the role

This position will be responsible for analyzing, maintaining, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data. The successful candidate will gather, analyze, design, develop, modify, test, implement, evaluate, and maintain information technologies that collect data to support business needs. Utilizes data to support decision making, provides identification of outcomes, and develops plans for achieving identified outcomes. Assists and documents testing, training, activation, and implementation of the plan, as well as outcome measurement and evaluation. Communicates project progress and outcomes to appropriate health system departments and personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Identify opportunities for process and data improvement proactively.
  • Develop and maintain information technologies that collect data to support business needs.
  • Support decision-making through data utilization and outcome identification.
  • Assist in testing, training, activation, and implementation of plans, including documentation.
  • Measure and evaluate outcomes, communicating progress to relevant departments.
  • Provide high-level customer service and promote a team-oriented approach.
  • Partner with Business Analysts and Project Managers to ensure business requirements are met.
  • Act as a liaison to leaders, departments, and providers to facilitate optimal use of applications.
  • Hold team members accountable for configuration standards and delegate project tasks.
  • Mentor team members and manage project life cycle support.
  • Ensure compliance with existing Service Level Agreements and standards.
  • On-call duties after normal business hours and rotating weekends may be required.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Seven years of relevant experience in a large healthcare facility preferred.
  • Clinical licensure is not required, but Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) is preferred for laboratory departments.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software.

Schedule

  • Full-time, day shifts.
  • 40 hours per week.

Pay

Salary range: $27.50 - $44.00 per hour.
