About the role

This position is with our Adhesive Technologies business unit – where we empower our people to transform industries and provide our customers with a competitive advantage through adhesives, sealants and functional coatings.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for product recommendations, customized products applications, new product demonstrations and troubleshooting for customers
  • Consult customers on solutions generating value for their use cases
  • Customer and sales team support via in person, Virtual call, e-mail, Phone calls
  • Travel for Customer Application Trial/ Validation
  • Collaborate with the focus market team to support target accounts and hero applications
  • Mediate the special equipment request with equipment services to obtain quotes
  • Troubleshoot adhesive/equipment related to technical issues
  • Provide technical support level 2 for TIS (Technical Information Services) for specific technologies
  • Perform technical visits (meetings, audits, demonstrations, troubleshooting, etc.) for customers with documentation in the CRM tool
  • Test Plan (coordination, logistics, Lab ops or AE test)
  • Report Writing and Review Lab Sample management in application engineering labs
  • Organize and execute technical trainings
  • Create new product technical launch packages
  • Create Sustainability Value proposition

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Material Science, or relevant Engineering/technical discipline; MBA is a plus
  • At least 3 years working experience, preferably with knowledge and experience on adhesives
  • Project management skills
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills necessary
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Team player - Able to share knowledge, motivate and positively influence team members
  • Knowledgeable in Power Point, Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, and Statistical Analysis Software is preferred
  • Strong laboratory, problem solving, and computer skills such as Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
  • Experience in facilitation, training, presentation, and customer interactions
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Self-motivated, hands-on, ambitious, and entrepreneurial

Benefits

  • The salary range for this role is $110000.00 and $128000.00.
  • This range represents the good-faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting.
  • In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable.
  • The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above.
  • Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
