About the role
As a CSC Lead Appliance Service Technician, you’re the go-to expert for complex mechanical and payment-technology issues across multiple laundry equipment brands. You’ll repair and install equipment, configure payment systems, and ensure facilities are safe, compliant, and customer-ready.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot mechanical repairs to company-owned, rented, and/or leased equipment.
- Repair and clean equipment as needed.
- Install and repair most technologies.
- Identify and report when technology upgrades need to occur.
- Teach others to resolve payment technology issues.
- Use back-office applications to configure payment systems.
- Ensure proper room/location condition.
- Report major issues that impact security, lighting, safety, and/or operational issues limiting the use of equipment.
- Identify ways to upgrade appearance; maintain proper signage.
- Act as a resource for field leadership to survey locations and provide recommendations.
- Recommend room/machine adjustments to increase revenue performance based on observable room usage patterns.
- Audit inventory levels of other technicians and recommend improvements.
- Execute regular parts replenishment based on guidelines and knowledge of route.
- Educate other technicians to recognize signals that make a vend increase feasible.
- Execute vend increases.
- Suggest vend increases to service/sales based on observations of the property.
- Maintain assigned company vehicle.
- Promote customer satisfaction with manager/customer.
- Check in/out with property contact(s) on service calls.
- Take personal ownership of each laundry room.
- Build personal relationship with clients as needed.
- Influence decisions at the property.
- Inform sales/branch of new property contact information or changes at the property.
- Teach technicians to evaluate room capacity.
- Identify opportunities to right size a room.
- Recommend changes based on key metrics (cycles, income per machine, repair, costs, etc.).
- Respond to customer inquiries.
- Other duties assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; or 5-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude; professional experience with mechanical repair/maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of and experience with liquid propane and natural gas is preferred.

- Ability to mentor and train other technicians.
- Expert at servicing common mechanical problems and ability to address more complicated service issues.

Pay
Minimum Salary USD $24.79/Hr. Maximum Salary USD $29.75/Hr.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, with the ability to work a Tuesday-Saturday schedule as needed.
