This role is highly visible and field‑focused, with regular deployments to properties and project sites. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise across OT/IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise networking, and connected property systems within property, construction, and other complex distributed environments.
Responsibilities
- Execute infrastructure scope for new property onboardings, acquisitions, and management services engagements, including ISP coordination, circuit turn‑up support, and technology transitions.
- Support end‑to‑end implementation of technology infrastructure for new developments, renovations, and major capital improvement projects.
- Review low‑voltage drawings, technical specifications, and as‑built documentation to ensure accurate technology implementation.
- Coordinate with vendors, integrators, ISPs, and service providers to manage implementation activities, lead times, issue resolution, and delivery risks.
- Provide hands‑on technical leadership at property and project sites to ensure infrastructure is deployed according to enterprise standards.
- Support infrastructure requirements for physical security systems, connected property systems, building automation systems (BAS/BMS), access control systems (ACS), CCTV, and other safety‑critical environments.
- Apply OT/IT cybersecurity frameworks and principles across deployments, including firewall rule implementation, network segmentation, redundancy, failover validation, and secure remote administration.
- Identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks associated with OT environments, connected property systems, converged networks, and smart infrastructure.
- Ensure OT deployments and operational activities comply with local regulations, company cybersecurity policies, and applicable industry standards.
- Support ongoing vulnerability management, firmware hygiene, security monitoring, and remediation activities across the property portfolio.
- Deploy, configure, validate, and support enterprise network and infrastructure standards across corporate and property environments, including wireless, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and site connectivity.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, configuration changes, firmware updates, device reviews, and remote support using secure access tooling.
- Monitor infrastructure environments, analyze alerts and event data, identify root causes, and initiate timely remediation.
- Support network redundancy, resiliency, and failover strategies across critical property and enterprise environments.
- Maintain a high level of operational readiness across network and infrastructure technologies supporting multiple locations.
- Partner with Technology, Management Services, Engineering, Construction, and other business teams to execute project deliverables and resolve field‑level constraints.
- Serve as a lead technical resource for complex or high‑impact infrastructure issues requiring hands‑on analysis, troubleshooting, and timely escalation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, contractors, vendors, integrators, and service providers to drive successful project execution.
- Translate complex technical issues into clear recommendations and actionable next steps for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Maintain site‑level and portfolio‑level visibility into infrastructure deployments, system readiness, configuration status, and remediation activities using enterprise service and project management tools.
- Ensure complete and accurate documentation, inventories, configuration records, network diagrams, and support notes are maintained.
- Maintain accurate records of infrastructure assets, technology standards, and site configurations; identify documentation gaps and drive improvements that strengthen operational consistency and supportability.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, documenting technical work and communicating effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Provide hands‑on technical support while maintaining strong ownership, accountability, and communication.
- Operate effectively in ambiguous, fast‑paced, and high‑pressure environments with multiple cross‑functional stakeholders.
