About the role

As a Lead Analyst, Project Cost at Caturus Management Services, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial aspects of project cost management. Your responsibilities will include analyzing project budgets, forecasting costs, and ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project cost models and forecasts
• Analyze project budgets and identify areas for cost savings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project scope and cost estimates
• Monitor project progress against budget and adjust as necessary
• Prepare and present cost reports to senior management
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in project cost management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project cost management
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other project management tools
• Experience working in the energy sector is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall
• Experience with project cost estimation and budgeting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and pivot tables
• Experience with project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
• Understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
